1. Rinse your razor in the sink! Fill the sink with a few inches of warm water. This trick will rinse your razor just as well as running water, but won’t use any where near as much water.

2. Verify that your home is leak-free, as many homes have stealth water leaks. Be sure to check your water meter before and after a two-hour period when no water is being used. If the meter doesn’t read exactly the same, there is a leak.

3. Avoid flushing the toilet unnecessarily. Dispose of tissues, insects and other such waste in the trash rather than the toilet. Yes, don’t roll your eyes, i’m talking to you…

Keep  a bottle of drinking water in the fridge - Running tap water to cool it off for drinking water is very wasteful.

So now you have one choice to make will you care for mother nature, or will you be ignorant and continue to waste water. That’s for you to choose.

The UN climate panel has issued its strongest warning yet that human activities, such as the act of burning fossil fuels are heating our globe, gradually but definitely apparantly. Extra pressure is now being put on governments to get t heir act together and to do more to fight the ever-increasing prblem of global warming… 

The most authoritative scientific report on climate change says with 90% certainty that by 2100 the rise in global temperatures could be as high as 6.4°C. A report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (a group of hundreds of scientists & representatives of 113 governments) represents the most authoritative science on the issue and was due for official release in Paris this morning.  

The 21-page report stated: “The observed widespread warming of the atmosphere and ocean, together with ice-mass loss, support the conclusion that it is extremely unlikely that global climate change of the past 50 years can be explained without external forcing, and very likely that is not due to known natural causes alone.”

(NOTE: the statement made of ‘very likely’ can be translated to over 90%) 

It continued saying that man-made emissions of greenhouse gases can already be blamed for these current problems: fewer cold days, hotter nights, killer heat waves, floods and heavy rains, devastating droughts, and an increase in hurricane and tropical storm strength (particularly in the Atlantic Ocean). 

Concerning sea levels, the report foresees rises of 18-58 centimetres by the end of this century, and an additional 10-20 centimetres are possible if the recent and shocking melting of polar ice sheets continues to happen.

The report claims that no matter how much civilization decelerates or reduces its greenhouse gas emissions; global warming and sea-level rise will carry on for centuries more.“

This is just not something you can stop. We’re just going to have to live with it,” co-author of the report & director of climate analysis for the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado, Kevin Trenberth, said in a recent interview. “We’re creating a different planet. If you were to come up back in 100 years time, we’ll have a different climate.”

Scientists have become concerned that world leaders will interpret that message in the wrong context and throw up their hands and give up and that would be wrong, Trenberth says. Instead, the scientists have urged the leaders to reduce emissions whilst also adapting to a warmer world with wilder weather.

Co-author Jonathan Overpeck at University of Arizona said, “The point here is to highlight what will happen if we don’t do something and what will happen if we do something. I can tell you that if you decide not to do something the impacts will be much larger than if we do something.”

“You make a difference on hundred of years time frame, but this is the future of the planet,” Trenberth told The Associated Press. “We have to adapt to it.”
